This week I bought a package of organic lollipops. I’m sure that some of you are thinking, “Why would you buy an organic lollipop? There’s nothing healthy about a lollipop, organic or not.” You would be right. There is nothing healthy about a lollipop of any kind. However, I do see a difference in my children when they have lollipops and candy with artificial food colorings. For my children, it just means I see a few extra tantrums on the day they’ve had the “goodie.” Other children suffer from much more severe reactions. For me, buying the organic lollipops was something I finally did because I need to have them with me in case they get artificially colored and flavored candy while we are out. It’s a back up to help me with my sanity. Judge away! 😉 If you are anything like me, check out the sales on organic treats at Whole Foods this week.
