What to do with trial/travel size items?
If you are like me and enjoy taking advantage of the freebie samples and free (or close to free) deals on trial size products, then you may be acquiring quite the stockpile of these little items. You can always just use them as needed. However, there are many creative uses you may consider.
Guests: I love to prepare baskets when I have guests come stay with us. And, trial size items are absolutely perfect for making a fun yet practical baskets for friends and family. But, even if you don’t make make a basket, leaving them in guest bedroom or bathroom is a fantastic use for these products.
Travel: One of the ways I like to use trial size products is for travel. It’s so convenient to pack just enough for the trip and not worry about all those TSA rules about keeping liquids and gels under three ounces.
Convenience: They are also convenient for day-to-day uses. They are great to keep in a desk or a dorm room. I like to throw trial size lotions in my diaper bag or purse to keep handy. I also used them for the bag I packed to go to the hospital to have my baby!
Emergency: Some people have used them for emergency kits and first aid supplies.
Donations: If you have more than you can actually use, then consider donating them. They’d work for care packages, relief kits, local shelters and gift baskets.
These are just a few ideas. What do you do with your trial sized items?
