This is a quick and easy meal to make that I learned from my dad, who learned it from his mom. My grandmother was a colorful woman, and named it something too vibrant to put in print, but we call it Stuff on a Shingle or SOS. It’s our go to emergency dinner and it only takes about fifteen minutes. What you will need is:
1 pound of ground turkey
1 can of sweet peas (or another favorite canned vegetable)
1 can of your favorite cream of something soup (chicken, broccoli, mushroom, ect. )
6 pieces of bread
Simply brown the thawed ground turkey on medium heat in a large pan. Drain the grease. Mix in the can of soup and until it looks creamy and is warm. Add the peas and mix them in. Set the heat of the oven to warm and cover it. Next take the bread and toast it. Put two pieces of toast on each plate and cover with the mix from the pan. This will serve a family of three.
