Challenge #5 was to take a plain white dress shirt and style it for an office day look then dress it up as cocktail party evening attire.

Best of all, I assure you this is a thrifty solution!

Both scarves are from Kohl’s purchased on clearance. One was $3 and the other was $6.

All jewelry (necklace and 2 brooches) were purchased on eBay.com for uber cheap, each piece cost lost than $4 including shipping.

The sweater is from a local discount store similar to TJMaxx or Ross. It cost around $5.

Thrifty Style Tip

Invest in quality basics (such as a white dress shirt and simple black skirt) that fit exceptionally well, then use affordable and fun accessories to make it seem like you have many more outfits.
