Have you planned your meals for the week yet? It’s Monday so it’s time. Meal plans not only take away the stress of cooking, it helps you save money by not eating out or impulse buying at the store! Seriously try it out if you haven’t.
This is my family’s menu for the week. Pretty excited for it!
Shrimp Thing. I’ve shared this before and if you haven’t made it, please do! This one is super easy “melt a stick of butter in the pan. Slice one lemon and layer it on top of the butter. Put down fresh shrimp, then sprinkle one pack of dried Italian seasoning. Put in the oven and bake at 350 for 15 min.”
Crock pot yummy potatoes. Four words, bacon, potatoes, cheese and your welcome. See the recipe HERE.
Bacon Wrapped Chicken. Yum-o and this one won’t heat up your house because you use your crock pot. Find the recipe HERE.
Tacos. Yes it’s boring, but it’s easy and the first two days were harder. This is the KEY to meal planning. You CANNOT do hard meals every single day or you will get burned out and not want to cook anymore.
Hamburgers and hotdogs. We are going out, but it’s free so make sure you look for events during the summer where you don’t have to cook or pay for food!
Pulled pork-This is SUCH an easy recipe. Throw a pork roast in a crock pot on low for 6 hour until you can easily shred it. Then shred it and pour your favorite BBQ sauce on it and let it cook for another hour and enjoy!
Coleslaw–HERE is my favorite recipe. It goes great on top of your pulled pork.
What’s on your menu for the week? Do you have an awesome recipe to share? I need some new ideas!
