I love s’mores. I may just admit that they are one of my favorite foods. I regularly find myself heating up a marshmallow and chocolate in the microwave to put on a graham cracker for breakfast, I’m addicted to the s’mores frappuccino Starbucks has during the Summer, and any chance I get to start a fire in our backyard fire pit so that I can roast some, I jump on it.
Now, with them being my favorite food and all, there’s no way I could ever think that the original is boring. But I appreciate change, so mixing it up a little couldn’t hurt, right?
Here are a few different s’more variations you’ve got to try at your next bonfire!
Nutella S’more: I remember when Nutella was the most popular thing ever. You would regularly see people walking around with a jar of the stuff and a spoon. (Not that I ever did that…) Even though it doesn’t have quite the same fame as it did, it’s still amazing. And it tastes great when spread on your graham crackers before adding a perfectly toasted marshmallow.
Double Chocolate S’more: Instead of the regular graham crackers, try the chocolate variety. If you are a chocoholic, beware. You may fall further into your chocolate addiction.
Raspberry Dark Chocolate S’more: Make your s’more with dark chocolate and add fresh raspberries. This was by far my favorite of all the s’mores I tried.
Peanut Butter S’more: Simply sub out the Hershey’s for a Peanut Butter Cup! If you’re a peanut butter lover, then this will be heaven.
Coconut S’more: Have you seen those toasted coconut marshmallows? Well, they’re the best. Try them out in your next s’more, you’ll fall in love.
Mint S’more: Just as you did with the Peanut Butter Cup variety, substitute the Hershey’s chocolate with one or two Andes Mint pieces.
Cinnamon S’more: Pick up a box of the cinnamon graham crackers and use those instead of the originals. The cinnamon in the graham cracker and the chocolate go so well together.
What about you, do you have any s’mores recipes that you love?
