With a store everywhere you turn its hard not to spend money on things that you don’t really need. If you’re searching for a little bit more paycheck at the end of the week, save your hard earned cash by not wasting your money on these 5 things!
Creating your own cleaning products at home is far simpler than it sounds. You probably already have everything you need to make them in your house already. Have you ever stopped to think about what people used to clean years ago? Definitely not the aisles full of cleaners we have now! Go back in time and join in on the modern day all natural bandwagon by making your own cleaners.
Natural items such as Vinegar, Lemons (or Oranges), Ammonia, Borax and Baking Soda are amazing for cleaning the surfaces around your home.
Cable or Satellite
If technology has given us one thing, its the ability to catch our favorite shows whenever we want to, commercial free and without paying for cable or satellite. Its a beautiful thing, really. Netflix, Amazon Instant Video, and Hulu are all great options. Some may require a small subscription fee, but it’s less than $10/month — or in other words, significantly cheaper than cable or satellite!
So maybe technology has given us more than one thing, since the modern technology age has also graced us with a plethora of free workout videos on YouTube. Not to mention the hundreds (thousands?) of generous websites that bare all with their workout plans, fitness trackers and built in accountability partners.
Think about it for a minute. How many times have your electronics failed in the first year or two that you purchased it in? Very little, if any. When it did, how many times did you use your warranty. Even fewer. Instead of padding the pocket of the person who sold you the extended warranty, why not throw that amount in your savings account and gain interest on it.
Individually Packed Products
While convenient little packages can come in really handy sometimes, why not just make your own? Buy the items in bulk and package them up in little plastic bags or containers yourself. This not only goes for food items, such as chips, but also travel-sized toiletries.
